The
pier is a ten inch steel pipe filled with sand and set in a six
foot cube of
concrete isolated from the dome foundation. The top section is connected by a
twelve bolt (3/4") flange so that the height can be changed and
shimmed for leveling.
The
control room has heating and air conditioning. It also has a bed, a recliner, a
frig and a large supply of Oreo cookies. There are two fast computers, a
PlayStation, a tv and hunting trophies; the boars are from SC and the prong horn
from NM. Printing is done on a HP P1100
with final preparation done in Photoshop 7.0
